What are the payment options?

You have multiple payment options:

  • Pay by transferring money from your bank to Al Ansari account during the eExchange transaction. Easy instructions are provided when you select this option after signing in.
  • Pay online securely through your VISA / MasterCard
  • Pay at any of our branches, conveniently located all over UAE
  • Pay at your own home or office - This is our proposed "Cash Collect" service for your added convenience. Send us a mail at e-exchange@alansari.ae to pre-register as our future customer for this service.

Are there any charges for using the "Cash Collect" service?

  • This service is exclusive to pre-registered customers who pay a one-time refundable deposit of AED 100
  • This service is limited to city limits within Abu Dhabi and Dubai only
  • This service carries an additional fee of AED 10 for each visit
  • In the event of non-availability of the customer at the specified time, an amount of AED 10 will be deducted from the service deposit

Will I receive 100 Air Miles for every friend I refer?

You will receive 100 Air Miles for every successful referral. Successful referral means somebody referred by you who

  • is not already a member of eExchange
  • proceeds to sign up to use the services of eExchange
  • uses eExchange services at least once to conduct remittance transactions

    Please ensure that he or she enters your Express Card or eExchange membership number in the relevant column while registering for eExchange services. Failure to do this will result in your losing the 100 Air Miles due to you.

What are the remittance charges?

Remittance charges differ depending on the country and the product. In general eExchange customers are offered 20% discount compared to charges applicable at the branches.

What are the additional charges if I use my credit card?

For direct debit transactions (if you choose to pay us directly through your bank account), there are no extra charges. All charges applicable are shown on the transaction confirmation page. The terms & conditions of your bank may change from time to time at their sole discretion in relation to such charges also. Please check with your bank for relevant details.

For credit card transactions, you will be charged an additional of 2.5% as our internal processing fee when you use your credit card. This is because our remittance fee is a nominal flat fee and not a percentage of the amount sent by you, and hence we levy an internal processing fee for credit card transactions.

For cash collect services (if you want our authorized staff to pick up the cash from your home or office) an additional fee of AED 10 will be charged per transaction. This is in addition to the cash collection registration fee.

Is there a limit on the transaction amount?

  • Transactions being paid for by Direct transfer have a transaction limit of AED 25000 per transaction inclusive of all charges.
  • Transactions being paid for by Credit Card have a transaction limit of AED 3700 per transaction inclusive of all charges.
  • Customers conducting transactions of more than AED 40,000 each are required to physically come to any of our branches and sign a form physically. This is a regulatory requirement.
